Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada. She is American. Her work has been featured on more than 20 studio albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk and alternative rock, but it also has hints from jazz and hip-hop. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement being one of the first artists to create her own record label in 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian origins. 32 Flavors is a hit song written as well as performed by Ani DiFranco. The song is from her album Not a Pretty Girl, which was DiFranco's sixth studio release. This song appears in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999.
